Site Supervision Engineer (Kyzyl-Suu)

NIRAS is currently looking for a Site Supervision Engineer for Kyzyl-Suu, and a team of Senior Experts for the consultancy opportunity in the area of drinking water supply development in Batken, Jalal-Abad, Osh and Issyk-Kul regions of the Kyrgyz Republic. The objective of the project is to (i) increase access to climate-resilient water services in selected river basins; and (ii) strengthen institutional capacity for climate-resilient water management at local and national levels.
The scope of services is divided into three phases:
• Phase 1. Development of detailed design and procurement assistance.
• Phase 2. Construction, Supervision and Maintenance period.

Qualifications required

Only the experts meeting the set criteria will be shortlisted and contacted.

• At least a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering/Hydrotechnical Engineering or similar.
• The Kyrgyz Republic's qualification certificate for engineering services (technical supervision for construction works).
• Fluency in Russian and Kyrgyz languages.
• Excellent reporting and computer skills.

Professional experience required

• At least ten (10) years of relevant work experience
• Good knowledge of local construction standards and regulations, preferably on drinking water supply systems.
• At least 7 years of professional experience in the construction field.
• Participation in at least one (1) similar project where he/she performed similar functions.

Duration

22 man-month input over 30 months (Phase II)

2nd quarter of 2025 (tentatively)
