WSS Engineer/ Hydraulic Specialist/Designer

NIRAS is currently looking for a WSS Engineer/Hydraulic Specialist/Designer and a team of Senior Experts for the consultancy opportunity in the area of drinking water supply development in Batken, Jalal-Abad, Osh and Issyk-Kul regions of the Kyrgyz Republic. The objective of the project is to (i) increase access to climate-resilient water services in selected river basins; and (ii) strengthen institutional capacity for climate-resilient water management at local and national levels.
The scope of services is divided into three phases:
• Phase 1. Development of detailed design and procurement assistance.
• Phase 2. Construction, Supervision and Maintenance period.

Qualifications required

Only the experts meeting the set criteria will be shortlisted and contacted.

• Must have an international experience
• A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a similar nature.

Professional experience required

• At least 7 years of experience in planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance of sewerage and water supply systems in large water intake projects. Special work experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in planning, detailed design and construction in water supply and sewerage projects with the participation of IFIs and/or at least three similar completed projects with the participation of IFIs over the last 7years.
• Experience in CIS countries will be an advantage.

2 man-month input over 30 months (Phase II)
