Team Leader for the implementation of a rural livelihoods project

Description

To improve natural resource management in select districts to support sustainable livelihoods,
and in the event of an eligible crisis or emergency, to provide immediate and effective response to the
eligibale crisis or emergency.

Qualifications required

Only the experts meeting the set criteria will be shortlisted and contacted.

MSc in agricultural economics, agriculture, business administration (MBA), management economics, economics, agri-business or development studies
Min. 10 years of relevant experience related to rural business development in the agriculture sector, marketing, smallholder commercialisation, competitiveness and value chain analysis in developing countries
Demonstrated experience in the value chain development for a variety of crops, aquaculture and livestock
Leadership and management of large, multi-disciplinary teams
Demonstrated skills in communicating orally and in writing with a range of stakeholders, including senior Government officials.
Southern Africa experience pref. Zambia
Business Plan development, Grants, Saving groups
